Everyday there are moments where we slip beneath our consciousness, into autopilot just going through the motions, at work, at funerals, at the supermarket. I have sought to distil these moments, down to the finest visual detail in an attempt to capture the way daily life merges with the subconscious. This work has been carthatic, forcing me to reflect on the mundane and the trivial which forms a residue on the mind.
