Identity I (Painting with light)
This work represents my own identity as a global and international individual. The personal belongings such as rice, jacket, passport, shoe insole, scarf and small animals porcelain which project as my native background. The Eminem CD, Anais Nin's book, feather pen, bottle ink and stamp illustrate the western influence on me. They are small things, but they are of my interest and life style in a way. The work requires the 'painting with light' technique, which is one of my favorite photo shooting approach. The painting style is also what I wanted to achieve in the end.
