Off-set: Aluminium Panel
Using the metaphor that a city is a powerline, strong, rhythmic, structured and undulating, Off-set aims to reveal hidden connections and grid structures within the city. Connecting two spaces, York Lane and Small Bar in Sussex Lane, the viewer is led on a path of intrigue and discovery. Off-set hints at the playfulness of a path, using the symbol of a double-sided arrow, which can be joined at any point along the circuit. Like power, it draws people in and illuminates a hidden connection.
