The Impressions
What happens if your identity is forgotten, lost, stolen or erased? What is to become of you? I am fascinated by anonymity and believe it provokes our imagination and arouses curiosity. The Impressions endeavors to understand the significance of not only one’s presence in a photograph but also their absence. Can a representation truthfully identify an entire person? Do we as the viewer need records or documentation in order to validate our existence? Or can our creativity be enough to construct our own personas based on what were given…
