Transform
‘Transform’ is a spatial lighting design for limited-use spaces. The object visually transforms a space through erratic shadows, cast by LED lighting and frosted acrylic tubes. Depending on the atmosphere, the tubes can be individually pivoted to dramatically alter the space. The timber frames can be extended vertically, allowing more tubes to be inserted. The object can potentially stretch from floor to ceiling. This creates a larger spread of light, which can be more specifically transformed. The spatial object can also be disassembled and flat-packed for easy transportation and storage.
