"Peter Was Most Dreadfully Frightened"

This artwork explores concepts of how illustration effects the narrative of a picture book. By placing familiar characters in unfamiliar scenarios the work hopes to question the original narrative and encourage a curious approach when viewing new the illustration. This work references illustrations by Beatrix Potter, Maurice Sendak and Eric Carle.
