For Better- 4th Year Major Project
The Design philosophy driving this brief is design For Better, and consequently seeks to engender a sense of worth and inspiration within the audience. This project is based on the exploration of the Cockatoo and its iconic larrikin personality. This concept has directed the visual research into examining the joyful and inherently uplifting essence of Australian nostalgia, and in particular, backyard culture. Addressing the commercial needs of Sheridan but also offering a versatile range of kids bedding suitable for use within the Children’s Hospital at Westmead has been a rewarding experience.
