CO_A, what the F?
This was a collaborative project with Emma Schuberg. As a reaction and protest towards the redevelopment of COFA and having to work in building site conditions, we set out to make a large chocolate crackle by using the vegetable fat - Copha. The realisation of this work encouraged people to hack away, simulating the tensions of constant hammering and digging, the substance (the actual chocolate crackle) is really a mess, its a concoction of ingredients packed in together into a confined space that ultimately, because of its colour and texture begins to look rather like a load of crap.
