The Painting box,2011
In my work "The Painting box" i explore expanded painting further, to show this i focused deconstructionism, where i had wool which represented paint, flowing from the cracks of the box. The meaning behind this work is to explain how art has moved from its traditional conventions into the real world where it not only occupies the wall but also a 3 dimensional space. By removing art from the wall a new meaning is created, and in doing so can enhance or destroy the work.
