Paradise Lost and Found
Where is paradise and how can we get there? Paradise is eternally out of our grasp, and although we might be able to see it, or think we can see it, it is not an easy place to get to. Shrouded in life’s difficult journey, paradise can be difficult to reach and hidden from view. Cloaked in mystique it asks the question how do we get to paradise? Based on the concept of the paradise carpet, this design represents paradise as a place, walled by spikes and accessible to only few with the right access. This begs the question: is paradise a physical, tangible place or a place within ourselves?
