[ A ]DRESSING THE BODY (2012)
Major Design Project. The manufactured skin is physically restricted by ideas of sinister beauty; the extremities and obsessive lengths people go to seek the ideal of beauty and perfection, such as diet constraints and medical procedures of stomach stapling, banding, and cosmetic surgeries. Shoulder piece, front view. Machine and hand sewn silk fabric, copper wire inserts, textured copper sheet with detail stitching.
